You will likely finish the story around level 25, or if you have also completed all of the side missions you will reach level 30 long before you reach the end.
When new content is released either as DLC or as an expansion, the maximum level can be increased to 35 or 40 depending on how much new material there is to be done. There is a good chance that the maximum cap on Outriders will continue to increase in the future. While you can only level your character up to 30 levels, once you unlock World Tier 15, the gear you get will be level 45 and essentially play on the hardest difficulty as it increases enemy levels by 15. However, in return, you will get the gear they drop and the rewards you level up. If you’re new to games like Outriders or AKA Looters, there is a World Tier system out there that you can use to essentially bolster the strength of the opponents you are fighting.
